Agilent Diffusion Pump Oil
This Agilent diffusion pump oil is formulated for use in Agilent and compatible diffusion pumps. Diffusion pump oil is heated to produce a vapor jet that captures and directs gas molecules toward the pump exhaust, creating high vacuum levels.
The oil's vapor pressure, thermal stability, and oxidation resistance are critical to achieving and maintaining the pump's rated ultimate vacuum. Replace diffusion pump oil when it darkens, develops an odor, or when the pump can no longer reach its specified base pressure.
