Agilent AX-65 Air-Cooled Diffusion Pump

The Agilent AX-65 is an air-cooled diffusion pump that provides high vacuum capability without requiring water cooling lines. Diffusion pumps achieve vacuum levels in the high-vacuum range (below 10⁻³ Torr) by using heated pump oil to direct gas molecules toward the foreline pump exhaust.

The AX-65's air-cooled design simplifies installation in laboratories and production environments where water supply is limited or where water cooling adds unwanted complexity. The pump is suited for vacuum coating, leak detection, analytical instruments, and other high-vacuum applications.
