1700°C 3-Zone Tube Furnace with Vacuum Flanges & Alumina Tube
This 1700°C three-zone tube furnace delivers the highest thermal uniformity in the ultra-high-temperature tube furnace lineup. Three independently controlled MoSi₂ heating zones compensate for end losses to produce a long, flat hot zone — critical for large-scale sintering, multi-sample CVD runs, and any process demanding tight temperature uniformity at extreme temperatures. Ships with alumina tube and vacuum-rated flanges included.
- Maximum Temperature: 1700°C (3092°F)
- Zones: 3 — independently controlled
- Tube: High-purity alumina (Al₂O₃) — included
- Flanges: Vacuum-rated — included
- Applications: large-scale sintering, crystal growth, CVD, zone refining, advanced ceramics, UHTC research
- Three independent PID controllers for precision thermal profiling
Three zones provide the maximum effective uniform hot-zone length at 1700°C. End-zone boost compensates for radiation losses that increase dramatically at ultra-high temperatures, maintaining tighter uniformity than 1- or 2-zone configurations.
